# Borro > Borro is the stock lending market for Robinhood Chain (chain id 4663), built on Morpho. From your own wallet: lend stock tokens and earn lending fees, lend USDG and earn interest, borrow USDG against stock, or short a stock token. AI agents use Borro through a public MCP server at https://borro.markets/mcp that reads the markets and prepares unsigned, simulated transactions for the wallet's owner to sign. Borro is not affiliated with or endorsed by Robinhood. What an agent can do on Borro: - Read every market and wallet position: prices, sizes, what lenders earn and what shorters pay (read them live: they float with demand), limits, liquidation prices and every contract address. - Prepare lends, withdrawals, USDG loans, shorts, pairs, leveraged longs, stock farm deposits, weekend gap cover and options, as unsigned transactions for the wallet to sign. - Run an agent credit line: the agent posts its AI credits (such as Orbio CREDIT or Raeto rCREDIT) and borrows USDG against them inside limits its owner sets once (a ceiling, a daily limit, a target LTV and an allowlist of payees), then pays allowlisted payees and buys its own gas. `credit_markets` says which markets are open now. How the MCP server works: - Endpoint: https://borro.markets/mcp, Streamable HTTP, JSON-RPC 2.0, stateless. No sign-in, no API key, no session. - It holds no keys and signs nothing. A prepare tool returns each step as `{ to, data, value, chainId }`, approvals ahead of the trade in exact amounts, and a simulation of every step from the wallet with the reason a step would fail. - Amounts are decimal strings in whole units ("1.5" NVDA, "100" USDG). Send the steps in order, each once the one before has landed. Quotes are priced at the call: if a step fails on price, call the tool again. - Calls draw on a per-visitor allowance shared with the site's own reads. Past it, wait and retry. - Stocks: SPY, QQQ, NVDA, TSLA, MSTR, COIN, PLTR, SPCX, GME, AAPL, GOOGL, MSFT, as stock tokens issued by Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited, against USDG. - Before sending, check each transaction's `to` against https://borro.markets/contracts.json. Connect: - Claude Code: `claude mcp add --transport http borro https://borro.markets/mcp` - Claude (web and desktop): Customize, Connectors, Add, Add custom connector; paste https://borro.markets/mcp; choose No sign in. - Any client with a JSON config: `{"mcpServers":{"borro":{"type":"http","url":"https://borro.markets/mcp"}}}` - By hand: POST JSON-RPC 2.0 (`initialize`, `tools/list`, `tools/call`) to https://borro.markets/mcp. Key tools by job (75 in all: 21 read, 54 prepare; the server's `tools/list` is the live list): - Read markets and wallets: `markets`, `market`, `prices`, `position`, `health`, `trades`, `rules`, `bear_coins` - Lend and borrow: `supply`, `withdraw`, `borrow`, `repay`, `bind_builder`, `buy_with_eth` - Short: `open_short`, `close_short`, `open_pair`, `close_pair` - Agent credit lines: `credit_markets`, `credit_line`, `holder_benefits`, `credit_open`, `credit_repay`, `credit_guardrails` - Pay with credit: `credit_pay`, `credit_gas`, `credit_bill`, `credit_bill_header` - Check a counterparty: another lender's repayment record: `counterparty_check` - Keeper jobs: paid liquidations and triggers for outside agents: `keeper_jobs`, `liquidate` - Holds: pay from a position that keeps earning: `hold_open`, `hold_pay`, `hold_header`, `hold_status`, `hold_collect`, `hold_end` - Get paid so it earns: a receiving address swept into bUSDG: `payto`, `payto_open`, `payto_sweep`, `payto_withdraw` - Leveraged longs: `open_long`, `close_long` - Triggers: stop-loss, take-profit and liquidation guards: `account_open`, `account_trade`, `trigger_set`, `trigger_list`, `trigger_cancel`, `trigger_fire`, `account_status`, `account_withdraw` - Bailouts: pay rescuers to save a position: `bailouts`, `bailout_offer`, `bailout_cancel`, `bailout`, `bailout_repay`, `bailout_foreclose`, `bailout_claim` - Stock farms: `farms`, `farm_deposit`, `farm_withdraw` - Weekend gap cover: `weekend`, `buy_cover`, `deposit_cover`, `withdraw_cover`, `settle_cover`, `claim_cover` - Options: `options`, `write_option`, `buy_option`, `post_bid`, `cancel_order`, `settle_series`, `claim_option`, `release_collateral` A short, end to end: call `markets`; call `open_short` with `{ wallet, symbol, amount, deposit }`; the wallet signs and sends each returned step in order; call `position` with `{ wallet }` to read it back. Templated JSON routes, all in /openapi.json: `/health/{wallet}.json`, `/abi/{Name}.json`, `/charts/{symbol}.json`, `/prices-history/{1|7|30}.json`; any route also answers under `/v1/`. Risks: past its limit a short or a USDG loan can be liquidated on Morpho. Borro's contracts are reviewed and tested in house, with no outside audit yet. Nothing here is investment advice. ## MCP server - [MCP endpoint](https://borro.markets/mcp): POST JSON-RPC 2.0 here; a plain GET returns a short description. - [Server Card](https://borro.markets/mcp/server-card): the server's identity and connection details (MCP Server Cards, SEP-2127). - [AI Catalog](https://borro.markets/.well-known/ai-catalog.json): domain-level discovery, pointing to the Server Card. - [Tool list](https://borro.markets/tools.json): every tool with its arguments, from the server itself. - [Full reference](https://borro.markets/llms-full.txt): this file plus every tool, one line each, with its arguments. ## JSON endpoints - [Markets](https://borro.markets/markets.json): every market, live: prices, sizes, rates and the market clock. - [Agent credit markets](https://borro.markets/credit.json): each market a credit line can open in, its limits and defaults. - [OpenAPI](https://borro.markets/openapi.json): every public JSON route, with the /v1 prefix and ETags. - [Contracts](https://borro.markets/contracts.json): every address, ABI, owner, timelock and Morpho market id. - [Prices](https://borro.markets/prices.json): each stock token on chain against the stock's own price. - [Weekend](https://borro.markets/weekend.json): the market clock, weekend prices and gap cover quotes. - [Options](https://borro.markets/options.json): each stock's options chain and the desk's book. - [Farms](https://borro.markets/farms.json): every stock farm, its fees and its lent part. - [Trades](https://borro.markets/trades.json): recent shorts opened and closed. ## Docs - [Borro for agents](https://borro.markets/agents): the MCP server, its tools, agent credit lines and safety. - [Integrate](https://borro.markets/developers): quickstarts for desks and bots, the contracts, and how a short works on chain. - [Security](https://borro.markets/security): where a deposit goes, every contract and every market on chain. - [Products](https://borro.markets/products): lend, borrow, short and the weekend desk. - [Bookrunners](https://borro.markets/bookrunners): the program for operators who bring deposits to Borro. ## Optional - [Insights](https://borro.markets/insights): notes on running a stock loan desk. - [Contracts source](https://github.com/Borro-Markets/contracts): Borro's contracts, verified on Sourcify and Blockscout. - [Terms of Use](https://borro.markets/terms) - [Privacy Policy](https://borro.markets/privacy)
